Step 1

Using the formula $r = a \sin (n θ)$ or $r = a \cos (n θ)$ , where $a \neq 0$ and $n$ is an integer $> 1$ , graph the rose. If the value of $n$ is odd, the rose will have $n$ petals. If the value of $n$ is even, the rose will have $2 n$ petals.
